Landscape Lighting Transformers are source of power for a lighting fixture runs. When fixtures are spaced out far away from the power source they may appear dimmer due to voltage drop. As electricity travels through the power cable and supplies fixtures with the electricity needed to power up, those fixtures take a little bit of the voltage from the next fixture. These voltage drops can be mitigated by leveraging the Multi-Tap available to compensate for the loss of voltage at the end of the run. Always make sure to test the voltage at the point where the fixture is going to be installed. For true voltage at that location, all fixtures that are installed before the new fixture should be left on at full brightness. Make sure the voltage at the location of the fixture being installed doesn't exceed the maximum allowable voltage of the light source.
This transformer has a "120 Volt" Input Voltage which is converted to "12 Volts" Volts. (AC)
